The Amon-Ra Shiraz is an iconic wine that epitomizes Ben Glaetzer's passion for creating wines that are full of flavor, layered, and intense yet still elegant, refined, and finely balanced. In Egyptian mythology, Amon-Ra is considered the king of all gods. The temple of Amon-Ra is believed to have been the first temple to ever plant a vineyard for the purpose of producing wine for the temple's citizens. The eye on the front of the label is the eye that sees everything of Horus or wedjat ("whole") - a powerful Egyptian symbol of protection. It is depicted as a figure with six parts, corresponding to what the Egyptians considered the six senses. Touch, taste, hearing, sight, smell, and thought.
