Janeiro Cachaca is a 100% Brazilian distilled spirit made from the fermentation of pressed sugarcane juice. It has been produced and bottled in the state of Rio de Janeiro continuously since 1886 and is recognized as the perfect ingredient for making a sweet, refreshing, and tasty caipirinha. The quality of Janeiro cachaca is ensured by the careful selection and sorting of the sugarcane (unlike other cachacas, the sugarcane is handpicked) as well as the absence of burning, which guarantees the elimination of any impurities from the juice.
