Ron Zacapa 23 is an award-winning rum from Guatemala, created to celebrate the founding of the city of Zacapa. It is a blend of rum distilled only from the sweetest sugarcane honey and aged for 6 to 23 years using the Sistema Solera process—barrels that previously held American whiskey, sherry, and Pedro Ximenez wine. It has an amber color and aromas of caramelized fruits, spices, honey, and cocoa. You can enjoy it with a little ice, along with bitter chocolate, dried fruit or nuts.
