TABLE WINES
In order for a wine to bear one of the PDO or PGI designations, specific legal requirements must be fulfilled with regard to the area (geographical zone) of production of the grapes as defined by the State, the method of vinification and the area of production of the wines, as well as the characteristics of each wine depending on the variety.
TYPES OF WINE
Depending on their colour, they are divided into :

Depending on how sweet they are (residual sugars) they are divided into :
Dry
Semi-dry
Semisweet
Sweet
Depending on how much carbon dioxide they contain they are divided into :
Quiet
Semi-liquid
Sparkling
Blanc de Blanc : White wine made from white grapes
Blanc de Noir : White wine made from red grapes
Gris de Noir : Grey (White with grey highlights) wine from red grapes
The temperatures at which the wines are consumed, depending on their type, are the most appropriate in order to enhance the aromas and flavours of each wine.
Suggested serving temperatures:
8 -10 oC for white, rosé, sweet and sparkling wines
16 -18 oC for reds.
