Johnnie Walker Select Casks 10 Year Old is a blend of Scotch whisky that showcases Scotland's top-notch expertise in whisky blending and aging. With Cardhu single malt at the heart of the blend, Johnnie Walker's Master Blender, Jim Beveridge, used whisky aged for at least ten years in first-fill American oak barrels to create this blend. The whisky was finished in barrels previously used for rye whisky, creating a complex new whisky with rich layers of flavor that begin with notes of creamy vanilla and transition to a spicier finish.
