Boutari Winery Legacy 1879 features intense complexity with primary aromas of red berries, dried fig, and tomato juice. Secondary aromas of intense aging such as vanilla, apricot, roasted almond, and light notes from a cigar box. Full-bodied with pleasant acidity. Smooth velvety tannins that create a full mouthfeel, rich in density with a warm, long-lasting finish complemented by secondary aromas of cocoa and red fruits. Decant it 1 hour before serving at around 16 degrees Celsius in a Burgundy-style glass. A wine with great aging potential; the rest is a matter of patience and time.
